Armen Martirosyan is an award-winning, classically trained pianist and grand prize winner of prestigious international competitions, including the "New Eighth Sound" and "Harmonia" International Music Festivals, as well as the "Renaissance" International Music Competition. He was nominated for Best Piano Performance and Outstanding Concert Master. He is a two-time winner of the "Golden Harp" National Music Contest and the "Art Music" International Art Concerts. Most recently, Armen performed at the Key Biscayne Piano Festival, showcasing pieces by Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff, and received first prize in two competitions, earning an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.
A passionate educator and collaborative artist, Armen is pursuing graduate studies at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where he completed his Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Performance in May 2023. He has performed over fifteen solo recitals and collaborated with various artists, interpreting challenging repertoires from composers such as Babajanyan, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chaminade, Khachaturian, Mozart, Ravel, and Schubert.
As a sought-after collaborative pianist, Armen continually works with instrumentalists and vocalists and is debuting new collaborations with Miami-based musicians like violinist Kostia Lukyniuk and soprano Margarita Parsamyan. Together, they will feature in the upcoming “Armen and Friends: Holiday Extravaganza” show at the Coral Gables Congregational Church.
In addition to his performing career, Armen is a dedicated piano educator who teaches students of all levels and ages. He is committed to nurturing a love and deep appreciation for music and has contributed greatly to the conservation of classical music and the vibrant Miami music scene.
